About

Nicki is an empathic, compassionate and nonjudgmental counsellor who uses collaborative approaches to invite growth and transformation. She has a depth of understanding, is described as warm and intuitive, and operates with the belief that people have the capacity to change and grow.

In working with individuals, Nicki employs a humanistic and client-centred approach, using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices to support clients in overcoming areas of concern. She believes that transformation is possible and that healing happens when individuals are given the space and support they need to explore their internal life and parts of themselves.

Nicki has extensive experience working in the human services field in the alcohol and other drug (AOD) sector using mental health and AOD frameworks that are relationship and solution focused. She is also an approved counselling supervisor specialising in peer worker supervision.
